Hardy, Wolf & Downing Law School Scholarship Opportunity

A growing profession with countless opportunities for success, law is a rewarding career choice, whether one works as a public servant, environmental attorney or civil rights advocate. The law firm of Hardy, Wolf & Downing is proud to announce a unique opportunity to students in pursuit of a college or graduate level education in this exciting field, with our scholarship for undergraduate and law school students.

We understand the financial challenges of pursuing a higher education in the United States today, and are pleased to offer a $5,000 law school scholarship award to help lessen this burden. As staunch supporters of local law enforcement and those who have served in the U.S. military, we invite U.S. veterans and law enforcement officials—and their immediate family members—to apply.

Law school scholarship award eligibility

The $5,000 scholarship fund will be divided between 13 students, who can use the award money toward books, tuition, housing and other educational costs at an accredited U.S. college/university pre-law program or law school.  Please note that all candidates must be active or retired U.S. military personnel or members of any branch of law enforcement, or immediate relatives of such individuals.

The Hardy Wolf & Downing Scholarship Award is offered to the following applicants:

  • High school students who have been accepted to an accredited college or university in the U.S.
  • Students who are currently pursuing pre law studies at an accredited U.S. university or 4-year college
  • Students who are currently accepted or enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school

  • Second place will receive $1,000

  • Ten applicants will receive $100 each
